Classification of electromagnetic chucks

Electromagnetic chucks can be divided into electromagnetic chucks and electric permanent magnet chucks. The permanent magnet chuck uses permanent magnet steel as the main material and changes the closing direction of the magnetic circuit through mechanical rotation to achieve the purpose of sucking and releasing workpieces. The basic working principle of the electric permanent magnet chuck is to use the different characteristics of different permanent magnet materials to control and convert the distribution of the internal magnetic circuit through the electronic control system.

After the one-time magnetization is completed, the power can be stopped, a continuous and stable strong magnetic field can always be guaranteed, and the magnetic circuit is closed to generate suction to attract the workpiece.

The demagnetization of the electric permanent magnet chuck is to control and convert the distribution of the internal magnetic circuit through the electronic control system so that the permanent magnet magnetic field balances itself inside the system and appears in a demagnetized state externally. The electromagnetic chuck is a device used to fix the magnetic conductive metal workpiece on the grinding machine. The clamping, fixing, and loosening of the workpiece are realized by magnetizing and demagnetizing the electromagnetic chuck. The demagnetization accuracy of the chuck has a great influence on the final accuracy and quality of the workpiece. Impact. In the modern machine tool processing industry, the update and processing cycles of parts are getting shorter and shorter, and the complexity and precision requirements are getting higher and higher. A grinder is a machine tool that performs finishing in the metal cutting industry, and its accuracy level determines the accuracy and quality of the final machining of the parts. As an important part of the grinding machine, the magnetic chuck mainly uses the magnetic force to fix the ferrous metal workpiece with magnetic permeability and is used as an intermediate fixture to fix the non-steel workpiece. Electromagnetic chucks can be divided into two categories: electromagnetic chucks and permanent magnet chucks.

The Internal structure of electromagnetic chuck

The electromagnetic chuck is composed of a cast steel shell and a coil placed in it, and a cable is used to send direct current into the coil winding. When the workpiece is placed on the electromagnetic chuck, the magnetic flux of the electromagnet is closed by the shell of the electromagnet passing through the workpiece, generating an electromagnetic attraction force, which is maintained until the power is turned off. Simply cut off the magnetizing power supply, due to the material purity of the electromagnetic chuck and the complexity of the workpiece material, there is still a large residual magnetism, which cannot ensure that the workpiece can be removed from the chuck smoothly, even destroying the accuracy and quality of the workpiece. The suction cup controls the charging and demagnetizing process, so as to ensure the smooth removal of the workpiece and the final accuracy and quality of the workpiece. Among the above-mentioned magnetic chucks, electromagnetic chucks are the most widely used on grinding machines. The electromagnetic chuck can be divided into ordinary type, dense pattern and strong type.
